Description
The Business Leaders Resource Group (BLRG) is a confidential, peer-driven forum for mid- to senior-level business professionals who lead teams, manage departments and navigate complex organizational challenges. Through monthly roundtable discussions and occasional expert-led sessions, members collaborate to enhance leadership skills, address operational and personnel issues and gain insights to apply within their respective organizations.
Eligibility Criteria
Professional Role:
- Must hold a managerial, director-level, or senior leadership position with direct responsibility for personnel, departmental operations or strategic initiatives.
- Business owners are not eligible; the group is tailored for professionals operating within organizational structures. Small business owners, we have a group for you. More information on this Resource Group coming soon.
- A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing teams or departments is required.
- Employed by a member organization of the Chamber in good standing.
- Strongly suggest attendance at least 9 of the 12 monthly meetings annually.
- Actively engage in discussions, share experiences, and contribute to a supportive peer environment.
- Agree to uphold the group's code of conduct, ensuring a respectful, non-judgmental space.
- Maintain confidentiality of all shared information to foster trust and openness.
- Willingness to facilitate discussions or assist in organizing guest speaker sessions periodically if requested by the Group Leader.
- Share relevant experiences and insights to enrich group learning.
- To promote a broad perspective, the group aims for diverse industry representation, limiting membership to one participant per company and striving for varied sectors.
