Description
Want a better grasp of your business finances without going back to school?
The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce is launching a new professional development opportunity through its new Business Builder Series: the Accounting Mini-Certificate for Small Business.
This three-session course is designed for small business owners, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers who are currently handling accounting themselves and want a stronger financial foundation without the commitment of a full college course.
Led by Warner Lin, CPA, Fractional CFO, and Turnaround Advisor with Extension Of, this practical course walks participants through key accounting concepts and shows how those concepts apply in the real world. Warner’s course outline includes accrual accounting basics, financial statements, the month-end close process, the cash flow statement, and a capstone case study that gives participants a chance to apply what they’ve learned.
This course is built for business owners who want to better understand their books, feel more confident in their financial decision-making, and gain practical skills they can use immediately.
Participants who complete all three sessions will receive a certificate of completion.
